Our man Xabi

Our man Xabi

Antonio Sanz worked in the wine industry for years in Spain, and then founded Vinicola Corellana in 1989, in Corella (Navarra). In 1998, Antonio’s son Mikel and viticulturist Rafael Reverte came across a plot of 117 year old Garnacha vines; this was the start of Zorzal (Wood Thrush). In 2009, they started bottling other indigenous Navarra varietals including Graciano and Tempranillo. Brothers Sanz-Xabi, Mikel and Iñaki are Zorzal.

Zorzal is located in the Ribera Baja sub-zone of Navarra.
